Truffle Pasta Arabiatta

Ingredients

  • 225 grams of your favourite pasta (spaghetti or penne works well)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes (adjust to taste for spice level)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons TRUFFLE MADNESS BLACK TRUFFLE OIL (adjust to taste)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

Cook the Pasta:

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce:

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the crushed tomatoes and stir well. Add the dried red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed. If you want it spicier, you can add more red pepper flakes.

Combine with Pasta:

  • Once the sauce has thickened, add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well-coated with the sauce.

Add Truffle Oil:

  • Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the truffle oil over the pasta. Toss again to combine.
  • Sprinkle the chopped fresh basil over the pasta and toss once more.

Serve:

  • Serve the Truffle Pasta Arrabbiata in individual plates, and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese.
