Truffle Burger Patty (Your Choice Of Meat)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg ground chicken/ground lamb/ground beef (preferably lean)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons TRUFFLE OIL (WHITE or BLACK according to preference)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil (for cooking)
  • Hamburger buns
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, etc.)

Instructions

Prepare Ingredients:

  • In a large bowl, combine the meat, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, truffle oil, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper.

Mix Thoroughly:

  • Gently mix the ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing, as it can make the patties dense.

Shape the Patties:

  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make sure they are slightly larger than your burger buns, as they will shrink slightly during cooking.

Preheat Grill or Skillet:

  • Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking.

Cook the Patties:

  • Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side on the grill or skillet, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. For a medium burger, aim for an internal temperature of around 160°F (71°C).

Toast the Buns:

  • In the last minute of cooking, you can toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

Assemble the Burgers:

  • Place the cooked truffle-infused burger patties on the toasted buns. Add your favourite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, or any other condiments you prefer.

Serve:

  • Serve your truffle burgers immediately while they are hot.
